Job Description

The main function of this position is to perform all duties required to ensure the smooth operations of all IT related functions..  

In this role you will support users in various business groups, working with Microsoft’s latest technologies ( Windows Server/ Windows Team Foundation Services / Exchange / IT hardware troubleshoot). 


Responsibilities:

  •  Monitor helpdesk tickets daily and coordinate with helpdesk technician in London office
  • IT hardware/network monitoring for disk space, irregular traffic, event logs on servers and local workstations
  • Inventory audit ( Both Server and Client workstations)
  • Keep up with latest technology trends and evaluating technology (software/hardware) and see if there is a fit for improvement in office
  • Manage various workstation images and keep them up to date for ghosting – Deploying images
  • Organize network documentations, diagrams, ensure everything is up to date in case of a disaster
  • troubleshooting network and hardware issues
  • MS helpdesk support ( RAS )
  • Check daily backups
  • Provide user guidance
  • Collaborate with helpdesk support in London to ensure coverage for all office

Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Strong PC troubleshooting skills
  • Good communication skills both oral/written
  • Strong customer service aptitude
  • Enjoy learning new skills
  • Familiarity with Windows 2003, 2008, Windows 7, Windows XP *32/64 bit OS
  • Strong organizational skills

 Desirable Skills

  • Must demonstrate ability to learn new systems and willingness to take on additional responsibilities
  • Must demonstrate ability to work both independently and cooperatively in a team to complete assigned tasks
  • Must demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask
  • MCSE Certification
