Job Description

The Logistics Analyst supports customer logistics requirements, through the analysis, organization, planning and administration of various phases of day-to-day provisioning, spares and maintenance and repair activities.  The Asset Management Analyst will provide in-depth knowledge of procurement, logistics, supply-chain and asset management processes, including practical application within a secure environment. The Asset Management Analyst will be responsible for implementing the asset management business processes, through the asset life-cycle within the NCE Active IT Program; from procurement through operations and sustainment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Provides practical application and implementation of ILS and ITAM best practices
  • Implements asset management (hardware, software, licenses) within the NCE Active IT Program, as part of a team
  • Integrates asset management processes, throughout NCE AIT Program service areas
  • Implements, manages and maintains automation, in support of the Active IT asset management process
  • Conducts asset management reporting for contractual, governmental and internal requirements, for the NCE Active IT Program
  • Generally performs on the asset management program, throughout the asset lifecycle and NCE Active IT contract duration

Qualifications

  • Security Clearance required
  • Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work/military experience
  • Must possess 2-5 years of related experience in logistics, traffic and/or supply chain management
  • Able to walk 2 to 5 miles per day and lift 50 pounds
  • Proficiency with a controlled Management Database (Remedy)
  • Able to manage a Program Inventory SharePoint Site
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Detail oriented
  • Detailed understanding of procurement, logistics, supply-chain and asset management process
  • Experience in defining asset management systems and solutions within the Intelligence Community
  • Familiarity with Federal property management environment with a focus on the Intelligence Community
  • Knowledge of IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) processes, IT Asset Management and Configuration Management database practices
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with process analysis methodologies
  • Able to define, develop, communicate and implement improved processes
  • Familiarity with Process Improvement Techniques desired
  • Experience with Supply Chain Operational Reference (SCOR) model desired
  • IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certification (Foundation level) desired
  • Experience with Configuration Management database practices desired
