As a Software Test Engineer, you will be responsible for QA, validation and releases of features, products of MindTickle platform. The role requires basic programming skills along with debugging and investigative abilities for web  & mobile technology application .

Responsibilities :

• Ensure the up to date status of every single module and service of MindTickle platform at any given time.
• Analyse assigned tasks and problems holistically to design the optimal solutions and identifies problems not explicitly evident.
• Checks and corrects problems that are not immediately evident in existing systems or processes and documents the same.
• Take complete responsibility and ownership for own tasks and subtasks and follows up to meet commitments to others.

• BTech/BS/BE/MTech/MS/ME in CS or equivalent from reputed Engineering Colleges
• 1-3 years of experience in Manual testing/QA/Automation
• Ability to write simple code to test in Java/php
• Scripting skills in Python, Perl, Shell or another common language
• Awareness of basic Object-Oriented programming (Classes/Methods etc.)
• Exposure to any of the test automation frameworks like testNG, JUnit, Android JUnit, Calabash and tools like Robotium, Selenium with an exposure to  designing test automation or test tools is a plus.
• Understand software testing methodology and software product development cycles.
• Knowledge in writing Javascript apps/debugging Javascript (Desired)
• Working knowledge of source control and issue trackers (Git, jira)
