Job Description
Join one of Australasia’s leading hotel groups and take your career to the next level within our award-winning in-house legal team at Minor Hotels. Based in our Brisbane Corporate Office, this role offers a rare opportunity to support our General Counsel (also Company Secretary) while gaining exposure to a broad range of legal work across a global hospitality and property business.
As the Executive Legal Administrator, you will work closely with a high-performing legal team, providing executive support, workflow coordination, legal systems administration, and limited legal support. This role is perfect for a proactive, tech-savvy professional who thrives in a dynamic corporate environment and enjoys working across diverse, challenging priorities.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Providing high-level executive support to the General Counsel, including calendar, correspondence, and travel management
- Acting as a strategic partner by anticipating needs, resolving issues, and managing information flow
- Coordinating meetings, preparing agendas, taking minutes, and tracking action items
- Managing legal technology and systems (including enhancements to LawVu)
- Monitoring legal expenditure, accounts, and external legal provider invoicing
- Maintaining legal registers, precedents, business name records, and key contract dates
- Supporting limited legal research, document production, and litigation preparation
- Assisting with training scheduling, legal education sessions, and compliance support
Qualifications
What You’ll Bring
- Highly organised and confident managing competing priorities and sensitive information
- Experience supporting senior stakeholders, ideally within a legal or professional services environment
- Strong communication skills and professional presentation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; strong technology skills are essential
- Experience with LawVu or similar legal matter management systems is advantageous but not essential
- A proactive mindset, strong ethics, and commitment to continuous improvement
