Avani+ Lanexang Vientiane Hotel set to open in Q2 2026 will bring contemporary style and Laotian flair to the heart of the capital, just minutes from Wat Si Saket, Vientiane Night Market, and Chao Anouvong Park. The hotel’s 197 guest rooms and suites will blend modern design with local touches, offering its guests the choice of four dining venues, including an international all-day dining restaurant, a western comfort food concept and bar, and a Southeast Asian fine-dining restaurant. Guests will enjoy Avani Spa with five treatment rooms, an Avani Fit fitness centre and studio, an outdoor swimming pool, and versatile event spaces including a ballroom for up to 320 guests.
Job Description
As a Sales Manager, you will play a key role in driving the commercial success of the hotel by executing sales activities in line with the overall Sales & Marketing strategy. You will be responsible for developing new business, strengthening existing accounts, and positioning Avani+ as a preferred premium hotel in the market.
This role focuses on building sustainable revenue through strong relationships, strategic account management, and proactive market engagement across local, domestic, and international segments.
You will report directly to the Director of Sales & Marketing and work closely with internal stakeholders to exceed revenue targets and contribute to a successful pre-opening and market launch.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute sales activities in line with the hotel’s Sales & Marketing plan across assigned market segments
- Proactively source, negotiate, and contract new business to maximize hotel revenue
- Promote the Avani+ brand and position the hotel as a premium product within the market
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate, government, NGO, embassy, and leisure partners
- Conduct sales calls, client entertainment, site inspections, and participate in sales trips and roadshows
- Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and pricing intelligence
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and account plans as required
- Support pre-opening sales initiatives and contribute to brand awareness and market penetration
- Training and development will be provided to ensure you are well-equipped to perform confidently and achieve outstanding results in the market.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of relevant sales experience in a 5-star or international hotel brand
- Proven ability to achieve sales targets in a fast-paced and results-driven environment
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Proactive, self-motivated, and passionate about sales and hospitality
- Able to work under pressure with a positive and solution-oriented mindset
- Fluent in English, Lao, and Thai
- Local Laos / Vientiane market knowledge preferred
- Southeast Asia market experience required
