Job Description
Oaks Auckland Hotel are looking for an enthusiastic and service-driven Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our team on a full-time basis.
This role includes breakfast, lunch and dinner shifts, with flexibility required across all seven days, including weekends and public holidays.
As a valued team member, you will contribute to memorable guest experiences by:
- Supervising daily food and beverage operations to ensure smooth service delivery
- Leading, motivating and supporting team members during service periods
- Accurately overseeing guest food and beverage orders and resolving service issues
- Demonstrating strong menu knowledge and guiding the team with confident recommendations
- Delivering professional, efficient and friendly service while setting service standards
- Providing exceptional customer service and consistently exceeding guest expectations
Shift Details (subject to change):
- Breakfast, lunch and dinner shifts
- Rotating rosters across Monday through to Sunday
- Full availability required, including weekends
- Split shifts may be required on some days
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate:
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within food and beverage operations
- A warm, approachable leadership style with a positive attitude
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to lead by example
- Excellent communication, organisation and team coordination skills
- Reliability and the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work across a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
