Job Description
Oaks Queenstown Shores Resort are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Food and Beverage Supervisor to lead our team on a full-time basis.
As a valued team member, you will oversee and support the F&B team to ensure seamless operations and exceptional guest experiences by:
- Leading, motivating, and coaching the food and beverage team
- Monitoring service standards and ensuring consistency across all shifts
- Managing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly and professionally
- Supporting inventory management, stock control, and daily operational tasks
- Collaborating with management to maintain high-quality service and operational efficiency
About the Venue
Our recently refurbished property introduces a sophisticated dining and bar experience, showcasing panoramic views over Lake Wakatipu.
- Newly refurbished, upscale hotel food and beverage operation
- Curated wine cellar featuring some of New Zealand’s finest wines
- Seasonal menu by Chef Gerhard Gerber, focused on seasonal New Zealand seafood, meats, and produce
Shift Details (subject to change):
- Shifts scheduled between 3.00pm -11.30pm
- Must be available to work weekends

Qualifications
Successful candidates will have:
- Proven supervisory or leadership experience in a food and beverage environment
- Strong understanding of hospitality operations and high-quality service delivery
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
- Professional presentation and the ability to lead by example
- Reliability and the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work across a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
