Job Description

Minor Hotels are seeking a Director of PR & Communications to lead the PR team and drive high-impact initiatives across media, social, and influencer channels, ensuring consistent messaging and visibility across all properties. This role is central to delivering campaigns for new brand launches, property openings, and strategic partnerships, while managing crisis communications and building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead corporate affairs and media relations, maintaining strong journalist and influencer relationships.
  • Oversee social media strategy, content development, and reporting across all brand and property channels.
  • Manage influencer collaborations, partnership campaigns, and PR events, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Lead crisis communications, ensuring timely, accurate, and consistent messaging.
  • Plan and execute PR campaigns for brand and property launches, portfolio initiatives, and strategic partnerships.
  • Monitor and report on campaign performance, providing insights to guide strategy and decision-making.
  • Mentor and develop the PR team, setting clear objectives and performance standards.
  • Oversee budgets, project management systems, and operational processes to deliver high-quality campaigns on time.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in PR, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field.
  • 5-8 years’ experience in PR or communications, ideally in-house or agency-side.
  • Proven leadership managing PR or communications teams across multiple markets.
  • Expertise in media relations, corporate communications, crisis management, social media, and influencer campaigns.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high editorial standards.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proficiency in PR, media monitoring, social listening, and project management tools.
  • Strategic, proactive, and solutions-focused mindset with attention to detail.
