Job Description

  • Oversee and elevate the end-to-end villa guest journey, from pre-arrival planning through departure.

  • Ensure all guest preferences, special occasions, and service expectations are anticipated and flawlessly executed.

  • Act as the primary escalation point for guest concerns, ensuring swift, diplomatic, and effective resolution.

  • Maintain strong visibility and engagement with in-villa guests, particularly VIPs and repeat guests.

  • Lead, coach, and motivate the Villa Host team to deliver consistent, personalized service.

  • Manage staffing levels, scheduling, and task allocation to ensure operational efficiency.

  • Conduct regular training, briefings, and performance evaluations.

  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and development of villa hosts in line with resort standards.

  • Monitor service delivery through regular villa inspections and guest feedback.

  • Ensure villa presentation, amenities, minibar setups, in-villa dining, SOPs, and brand standards are maintained.

  • Identify service gaps and implement corrective actions proactively.

  • Coordinate with Housekeeping, Front Office, Culinary, Engineering, and Spa teams for seamless service delivery.

  • Ensure accurate communication of guest preferences through PMS and internal systems.

  • Oversee villa-related billing accuracy and benefit entitlements.

  • Support pre-opening or transition phases when required.

  • Monitor departmental costs, productivity, and resource utilization.

  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cost-control initiatives.

  • Ensure compliance with resort policies, health & safety standards, and local regulations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in luxury hospitality, with at least 2–3 years in a villa host, butler, or guest experience leadership role.
  • Prior experience in Maldives luxury resorts or remote island operations is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of personalized luxury service standards and cultural sensitivity.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in PMS systems (Opera preferred) and guest profiling tools.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
