We are looking for a quick-witted, entrepreneurial, and intellectually-curious person to join our growing engineering team.  Responsibilities include:

• Owning build, automation, and administration of our cloud based infrastructure.

• Fully automate provisioning, configuration and deployment of a nimble SOA.

• Design highly secure systems that meet regulatory, security and compliance standards for the financial services industry.

• Build tools which provide insight into our operational status and capacity.

Successful candidates will posses the following:

• Penchant for solving complex and interesting problems.  A self-starter who is interested in automating *everything*.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science (advanced degree preferred), or equivalent work experience.

• 5-7 years of relevant job experience.

• Real cloud infrastructure experience.

• Experience working at a startup is highly desirable.

• Ability to think creatively, strategically and innovatively using sound judgment and technical skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment while prioritizing and managing multiple responsibilities.

• Experience in a Java based stack a plus.

• Experience and flexibility in using a number of languages, tools, and services to get the job done is a plus (Puppet, Chef, CloudFormation, Vagrant, Packer, Maven, Gradle, Graphite, etc.)

• Experience operating in a PCI DSS, SSAE16, or other audited environment a plus.

Mirador is based in Portland, OR.   This position is either FT or contract-to-hire.
