Mirantis is adding a Cloud Maintenance Engineer Intern to our team! The Cloud Maintenance Engineer Intern will work on our Sustaining Engineering team and help to provide world-class support for the Mirantis Container Cloud.  If you are a friendly, effective communicator who is inherently interested in solving complex problems and delivering a high-level of customer satisfaction with every customer interaction (via help content and tickets), you enjoy building reproducers and finding bugs , you sling code for fun, you enjoy interactions with Development Engineering as a part of your daily activities, the Sustaining team is looking for you

Main Responsibilities

• Contribute to Mirantis flagship product: Mirantis Container Cloud

• Engage with Engineering teams to resolve technical issues

• Reproduce customer issues

• Diagnose and develop code-level fixes

Minimum Qualifications

• Basic understanding of virtualization/containerisation

• User-level experience with Docker and Kubernetes 

• Experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform and Openstack

• User-level experience with Linux systems (basic shell commands, working with files, installing packages etc)

• Knowledge of networking (OSI ISO model, IP addressing)

• Good written and spoken English (Advanced)
