Mission City Community Network (MCCN), a not-for-profit organization with multiple clinics operating as a Federally Qualified Health Center dedicated to serving low income and under-served families in the San Fernando Valley, San Gabriel Valley and Los Angeles and San Bernardino areas.  MCCN is a full service health care provider with primary care services for children, adolescents and adults.

Positions: Medical Assistant Front/Back Office

Location: Inglewood, CA

Status: Full-Time Regular 

Schedule: Saturday thru Friday (40hr/wk, schedule will include Saturday rotation)

Qualified experienced medical assistants are needed for our community health clinics located in Inglewood, CA.

Mission City Community Network, Inc. (MCCN) is looking for a professional, outgoing, and friendly team member with ability to multi-task. Must be reliable, hardworking, and able to work independently. Must maintain or exceed competency levels as established by corporate standards for clinical practice. Must have basic computer skills with knowledge of medical terminology.

This position will require vitaling, venipuncture, injections, tray set-up, assisting providers as needed, translation of Spanish to English, front office appointment scheduling, verifying insurance/program eligibility and other duties deemed necessary. Able to function with minimal supervision, train and direct Medical Assistant Level I preferred.

Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, not required

Medical Assistant Diploma from an accredited school, required. California Certified Medical Assistant (CCMA), preferred

Must maintain a current Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation certification, in compliance with corporate CPR policy.

High School Diploma from a WASC accredited School. (GED not accepted) 

Ability to pass Basic Clerical Skills Test and Medical Assistant Competency Test. 

1+ year experience front and back office medical clinic setting. Referrals experience preferred.

Must have current driver license, insurance and own reliable transportation (*required)

Ability to be flexible (Saturday through Monday) 40hrs/wk

Medical Assistant - Salary Range: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour (based on years of experience in related medical field)
