Job Description

* Develop and implement procedures and systems to continually improve and streamline department processes relating to quality control and desktop audits. 

* Responsible for creating and maintain all client lease abstracting checklists. 

* Responsible for assisting in internal quality control of all Lease data.  

* Assist in generating and distributing client quarterly and custom reports. 

* Analyze and interpret lease language. 

* Update department manager weekly on status and progress of client accounts and open items.

* Assist in quality controlling lease data for Request for Compensation approval.

* Assist in preparation of individual annual goals.

* Track and review payable and receivables for accuracy.

* Abstract commercial leases.

* Maintain leases for Client(s) in a tracking database.

* Work to solve lease issues for Portfolio Account Manager and corporate clients.

* Establish and maintain strong relationships with Clients, Brokers and Portfolio Account Managers.

* Responsible for the tracking and collecting lease information from landlords and clients.

* Analyze and interpret operating expense data and prepare correspondence for client or landlord initiating desk top or full scope audit findings. 

* Audit Escalations, CAM, and Real Estate Tax invoices.

* Negotiate audit findings with client and their landlord to ensure sufficient credits and appropriate charges are made.

* Assist in generating and distributing quarterly and ad hoc reports.

* Assist in the collection of lease information from landlords and clients.


Qualifications

At least 3 years of experience

High School Diploma required

Documented experience with performing CAM/Operating Expense invoice reviews and Desk Top Lease Audits

 Demonstrate good knowledge of commercial lease language and interpretation

Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills, and business math proficiency

Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on teamwork and customer service

Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize, follow-up and bring projects to conclusion

General database, or real estate lease database experience preferred

Proficient in Word and Excel
