Job Description

Are you passionate about Moonstruck Chocolate product lines and over the moon about marketing?  If so, then you might be our next Marketing Coordinator!  You'll be a critical part of our marketing team, contributing by developing and implementing marketing and advertising strategies, conducting market research, and preparing reports. You'll report to the Director of Marketing & Product Management and have direct exposure to every part of the marketing life cycle for chocolate magic!

  • 15% strategy, 20% planning, 60% execution, and 5% reporting
  • Maintain brand standards at all times
  • Participate in strategic programming and campaign planning
  • Perform market analysis and competitive research
  • Research and report on consumer and product category trends
  • Support website management including updating content and products
  • Implementation of marketing and advertising activities, including but not limited to:
    • Identify new marketing channel opportunities
    • Maintain content calendar
    • Manage product and seasonal marketing programs
    • Assist with management of Facebook advertising and Google Ads
    • Contribute to social media including Facebook location pages and Google My Business posts
    • Own online reputation for corporate and all café locations, including monitoring and engaging with consumers
    • Coordinate marketing and sales events, including promotions and logistics, in partnership with the sales team
    • Research and recommend awards, as well as manage the application process
  • Help define tracking methods to collect quantitative and qualitative data from marketing campaigns
  • Report on key performance indicators
  • Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Strong desire to learn along with professional drive
  • Solid understanding of different marketing techniques
  • Must have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize in a changing environment
  • Familiarity with marketing software and systems (e.g. Facebook ads, analytics and Google Ads)
  • Passion for the marketing industry and its best practices
  • BA/MA in marketing, advertising or business administration a plus
  • Familiarity using Adobe Creative Suite a plus
