Job Description

JOB SUMMARY: This position is responsible for providing quality and efficient customer service to Moonstruck customers via phone and email, data entry of orders, serving as backup to the receptionist at the front desk, and serving as Sales Associate in our factory store. 


MAJOR POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Providing superior customer service to all customers. Includes “call in” customers, web customers, and our large and small retailers. 


• Field inbound phone calls from various customers. During interaction with our customers the Customer Service Representative will be expected to:

o Process customer orders

o Provide status on customer orders

o Respond to customer questions regarding our products

o Effectively utilize our order management databases. 


• Downloading and processing of web orders.


• Enter sales orders from faxes, emails and phone calls into the database system.


• Back up to front desk employee for breaks, lunches, and scheduled days off: Greet and sign in all visitors. Confirm that visitors are not left unattended and wear a visitor badge at all times. Field and direct incoming phone calls. While at front desk, provide outstanding customer service to customers in our retail store by providing product information and ringing in sales. 

• Demonstrate in depth product knowledge when communicating with customers. 

• All other duties as assigned. 


Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: 

• Experience in a telephone customer service or telephone sales environment.  

• Experience in a consultative selling environment.

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office – specifically: Word, Excel and Outlook.  


ADDITIONAL SKILLS NECESSARY FOR SUCCESS: 

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 

• Ability to work as part of a team, with little direction. 

• Excellent communication skills and telephone presence. 

• Ability to multi-task and follow a project to completion. 

• Experience in a retail sales environment with face to face customer contact. 


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will sit or stand as needed, at times for long periods of time. May require walking primarily on a level surface throughout the day. Will require climbing stairs to reach other departments within the building throughout the day.
