Job Description

JOB SUMMARY: This position contributes to Moonstruck’s success by assisting the management team in executing store sales and operational goals. This position is responsible for creating and maintaining the “Moonstruck Experience” for our guests. The associate is responsible for modeling and acting in accordance with Moonstruck’s high standards and guiding principles. IMPORTANT: Due to the nature of our busy season, we are unable to accommodate requests for time off during the holidays. ALSO IMPORTANT: We are hiring for part time positions, working an average of 12 hours per week. 

 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Models a “customer comes first” attitude, delivers legendary customer service, no matter the circumstance
  • Provides each guest with the 5 step Moonstruck Experience
  • Demonstrates the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
  • Supports the Store Manager in implementing company programs by working directly with the retail team to execute action plans that meet sales, operational and organization objectives
  • Demonstrates integrity, honesty, and knowledge to promote the vision, values, and goals of Moonstruck. Maintains and models a calm exterior presence during periods of high volume or unusual events and moves on immediately after to keep the store operating to standard
  • Demonstrates product knowledge to best meet the needs of the customer
  • Focuses on product sales as directed by the management team
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Receive and maintain food and safety certification in accordance with local, state, and federal guidelines
  • Chocolate and coffee (barista) knowledge a plus, but not required
