Mortgage Advisory Group, a highly successful, full circle mortgage broker and banker leader in the Pacific Northwest, is seeking a highly motivated, top quality candidate for the position of Branch Operations Manager. The position is available in Bellevue, WA.

The Branch Operations Manager is responsible for the overall management of branch retail loan operations. This includes processing, FASTrak reporting functions, customer service, and management of Loan Specialists, Approval Specialists, Loan Assistants, and administrative personnel. Passionate about helping the people we serve, the Branch Operations Manager leads, trains, and supervises the team to ensure adherence to the FASTrak workflow process and makes it a great day, each and every day by producing excellent results.

Position Duties Include:

1. Ensure that all loans are being processed in a timely and proper manner in adherence to FASTrak service levels.
2. Verify that all loans are processed in accordance with established regulations, company policies, and secondary market processing guidelines.
3. Conduct periodic loan operations meetings to discuss improvements and resolve issues.
4. Assist with providing training to existing personnel and new hires as necessary.
5. Perform Approval Specialist, Loan Specialist, and Loan Assistant job duties if required, adhering completely to industry compliance requirements.
6. Provide assistance in processing branch overflow pipelines due to vacations and sick days.
7. Effectively solve problems independently, diffuse conflicts, clarify miscommunications, and escalate to management when necessary.
8. Performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Education:  High School diploma or GED.
2. Experience:   Has at least 3 years of current, hands-on experience processing both retail and brokered residential mortgage loans with at least 1 year experience managing processing teams.
3. Knowledgeable of loan program guidelines, regulatory compliance issues and the related disclosure requirements for multiple loan programs, including FHA, VA, USDA, Conventional loans with MI, Bond loans, and loans brokered to wholesale lenders.
4. Familiarity with wholesale counter-party websites and submission procedures.
5. Can easily navigate through Investor Underwriting Guidelines.
6. Has a strong understanding of the FASTrak work flow process.
7. Highly proficient in using Microsoft Office software and standard office equipment including computer, copier, fax and telephone equipment.
8. High level of technical competency and familiarity with managing Excel Reports.
9. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
10. Strong leadership skills.
11. Strong interpersonal and team building skills with the ability to collaborate with team members to ensure optimum efficiencies.
12. Organized, detail-oriented, resourceful, and an excellent problem-solver.
13. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and demonstrate flexibility in a fast-paced and fluctuating environment.
14. Ability to provide exceptional customer service.
15. Available to work overtime as needed.

DESIRED:

1. Has 5 + years of current, hands-on experience processing both retail and brokered residential mortgage loans and at least 2 or more years of previous experience managing processing teams.
2. Experience working in Ellie Mae’s Encompass, Bankers Edition.
