Job Description

Business Trainer – Remote Position with 40% travel

 

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Business Trainer primarily focuses on conducting employee or customer training. The Business Trainer prepares multimedia training materials and delivers those materials in a classroom or work setting. Additionally, they conduct product training to clients or customers, develop courses and provides product training on specific products as well as developing classes and creates training materials.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Delivers training to end users via Webex or Onsite
  • Prepares and updates user training material as needed
  • Writes User Manuals specific to MC products and documentation standards
  • Creates Job Aids and User reference when needed
  • Works with SME’s and various departments to create and deliver training to clients
  • Creating and editing video tutorials for eLearning
  • Ability to work in a highly technical capacity
  • Participate in call meetings with SME’s and principal consultants to ensure proper training during implementation
  • Work with the Professional Services as a representative of the Training Department on assigned implementations
  • Deliver training and documentation under strict deadlines

 

 

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

            Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Communication, Organizational Development or a related field and 2-5 years of experience.

 

 

 

Experience:

4 years of training experience in a the Financial field

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Knowledge and use of Adult training methodologies- ADDIE model
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office 2010- Word, Publisher, Excel, Visio
  • Ability to Travel up to 40% to client trainings (typically 4 days onsite)
  • Mortgage industry knowledge
  • Deliver training via webinar as well as onsite
  • Knowledge of Train the Trainer practice
  • Working knowledge of the software development lifecycle
  • Snagit 11 Preferred
  • Camtasia Studio 8, Adobe Captivate highly desired
  • Framemaker preferred
  • Robohelp preferred
