Job Description

Reporting to the SVP of Lending Solutions, the Vice President, Lending Solution Sales participates in

and drives the sales process to identify, contact, qualify, and close prospective clients. They will also

be responsible for building and maintaining a pipeline of qualified opportunities and be expected to focus

on all aspects of the pipeline including accurately forecasting. The Vice President of Lending Solutions

Sales will be expected to call into various groups within a targeted prospect in particular the C-Level, IT

groups and business lines, and learn to understand the needs of each, develop interest and create

urgency with the primarily contacts in a targeted prospect organization. The ideal candidate understands

the mortgage banking industry, credit union industry, mortgage industry’s technology vertical and has a

successful, solutions sales background.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

Exceeding monthly quota objectives through outbound sales activities.

Accurately forecasting opportunities based on realistic assessments.

Strategically build and manage the pipeline of opportunities.

Meeting internal metrics including: call volume, number of opportunities, and closed business.

Qualify business opportunities by proactively initiating outbound calls to senior level management

and probing prospects to determine needs.

Utilize and manage prospect information with a comprehensive customer relationship

management system.

Optimize productivity and follow up on all leads in a timely manner.

Research prospective industries and companies to assess their suitability for our solutions.

As a team member, coordinate sales activities and business initiatives and integrate sales

processes across the company and within the allocated region to meet/exceed monthly minimum

KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators) and levels of sales production.

Serve as a thought leader regarding product requirements, selling trends, competitive landscape,

marketing programs and corporate communications.

Provide executive level representation at high-stakes meetings with prospects, clients, and

technology/channel partners.

Build relationships with different business partners that can assist in opening generating potential

leads.

Recommend creative selling techniques based on market and product knowledge.

Assist in developing and driving brand identity and recognition in the allocated territory.

Provide accurate and timely forecast’s using the appropriate sales tools and processes, manage

and maintain all relevant information about customers, prospects, campaigns, and leads within

our CRM platform.

Work with Sales Operations & Sales Leadership to ensure business is transacted

accurately and within pricing guidelines to the highest ethical standards.

Assist in the development, communication, and implementation of effective sales growth

strategies and processes for Mortgage Cadence.

Actively attend industry related tradeshows, events, meetings and on-site demo’s while

representing the firm and your team with integrity.

Facilitate feedback to different areas of Mortgage Cadence regarding client needs, operational

needs, business opportunities and marketing/sales programs.

Work closely with Product & Services Marketing: channel feedback on product features and

functions, trends, program needs, customer outreach programs and events.

Work meticulously with our CRM and keep an account of all sales activities.

Qualifications

Requirements

Degree preferred.

Minimum 10 years of executive experience.

Preferred, minimum 1-2 years in Mortgage lending origination or productions

Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of sales experience, (solution sales approach)

preferably in the mortgage or credit union technology industry and/or software/Internet technology

environment.

Superior communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build relationships at multiple levels to

work cross organizationally toward solutions; excellent leadership and consensus building skills,

influencing and changing management skills.

Consistent track record of success in closing business, and creating and managing a pipeline of

opportunities.

Highly motivated and professional with excellent verbal and written communication skills, highly

confident and goal oriented.

Some knowledge of Internet architecture, technology, and/or infrastructure, familiar with business

strategies, as well as their associated metrics.

Ability to communicate with senior level management, to explain complex processes and to

demonstrate Internet/Technology services over the phone and VIA web media tools.

 Exceptional project management skills and the ability to coordinate and oversee a number of

projects concurrently across multiple functional company departments.

Use and be proficient in Microsoft Office tools

Strategic thinker

Regular travel throughout the United States.
