Company Description
- We are seeking a Sr. Development/Program Manager with a Mortgage background to join a rapidly growing Mortgage company in north Dallas.
- The Program Manager will manage multiple, simultaneous enterprise projects from inception through completion.
- He/she will lead cross functional teams including BA's, developers, PM's, and software testers.
Job Description
- Take ownership for the successful design, development and implementation of high impact projects.
- Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals
- Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders
- Schedule and track project deliverables, milestones, and required tasks
- Assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority to project personnel
- Direct and coordinate activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within budget
- Establish standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation
- Review status reports prepared by project personnel and modify schedules and plans as required
- Prepare project status reports keeping stakeholders, and others informed of project status and related issues
- Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders
- Coordinate and respond to requests for changes from original specifications
- Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path
- Monitor project results against technical specifications
- Develop and maintain technical and project documentation
- Proactively manage changes in project scope and identify potential bottlenecks or delays
- Conduct project post mortems and create a recommendations report to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements
- Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management
- Recommend process improvement
Qualifications
- 5-7 years of leadership experience within IT-related industry managing enterprise level projects
- Recent experience working within the Mortgage industry
- Bachelor's or Associates degree
- Superior documentation, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate (both written and verbal) at varied levels within an organization (technical users to executives, CXO level.)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to analyze and document complex business processes and independently identify opportunities for improvement
- Ability to efficiently prioritize and organize competing work demands
- ITIL, Six Sigma, and/or PMP certifications a plus
