Company Description

  • We are seeking a Sr. Development/Program Manager with a Mortgage background to join a rapidly growing Mortgage company in north Dallas.
  • The Program Manager will manage multiple, simultaneous enterprise projects from inception through completion.
  • He/she will lead cross functional teams including BA's, developers, PM's, and software testers.

Job Description

  • Take ownership for the successful design, development and implementation of high impact projects.
  • Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals
  • Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders
  • Schedule and track project deliverables, milestones, and required tasks 
  • Assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority to project personnel 
  • Direct and coordinate activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within budget 
  • Establish standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation 
  • Review status reports prepared by project personnel and modify schedules and plans as required
  • Prepare project status reports keeping stakeholders, and others informed of project status and related issues 
  • Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders
  • Coordinate and respond to requests for changes from original specifications 
  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path 
  • Monitor project results against technical specifications 
  • Develop and maintain technical and project documentation 
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope and identify potential bottlenecks or delays 
  • Conduct project post mortems and create a recommendations report to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements 
  • Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management 
  • Recommend process improvement 

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of leadership experience within IT-related industry managing enterprise level projects 
  • Recent experience working within the Mortgage industry 
  • Bachelor's or Associates degree 
  • Superior documentation, communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate (both written and verbal) at varied levels within an organization (technical users to executives, CXO level.) 
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. 
  • Ability to analyze and document complex business processes and independently identify opportunities for improvement 
  • Ability to efficiently prioritize and organize competing work demands
  • ITIL, Six Sigma, and/or PMP certifications a plus
