Job Description

The Inventory Associate is a very important part of Shakelton Auto & Truck Centers' supply chain system. This position is the ideal position for a person who is detail orientated with a strong work ethic. As an Inventory Associate you will have a variety of duties that help to control and maintain inventory in our warehouse. 

Duties Include:

  • Managing the Warehouse
  • Loading and unloading of parts
  • Pulling inventory to meet store and customer orders
  • Checking and verifying stock
  • Verifying and complleting required documentation and reports
  • Assist in maintaining a clean organized warehouse environment at all times
  • Monitoring the warehouse for unsafe work hazards or potential areas of concern and report these to your supervisor



  • Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs
  • Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse is preferred
  • Must be able to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Valid Drivers License
