Job Description

Responsible for leading the distribution and sales strategy for the Theatrical business in Mexico, driving sustainable revenue growth and optimizing film performance in alignment with UPI’s global objectives

  • Define and oversee the execution of distribution and sales strategies to maximize attendance and box office revenue for our films.
  • Manage the Distribution and Sales team, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and growth.
  • • Develop strategic relationships with exhibitors and key partners, ensuring long-term synergies.
  • Manage budgets and business projections.
  • Manage advanced market analysis and consumer behavior to identify business opportunities.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with internal departments, Marketing, Finance, Operations, Business Intelligence, Legal, and Human Resources to align strategies and deliver business objectives.
  • Monitor KPIs and sales forecasts, ensuring compliance with business objectives.
  • Drive digital transformation initiatives and the development of new business tools.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to team members, accelerating leadership development and career development.
  • Establish a growth mindset across the organization, promoting continuous learning and innovation.
  • Develop innovative strategies that maximize film performance and consumer experience.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6 years’ experience in Distribution and Sales, preferably in Media, Entertainment, or Film.
  • Knowledge of the market and industry desirable.
  • Developed leadership skills.
  • Advanced English.
  • Demonstrated advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create complex formulas, pivot tables, data analysis, and reporting for strategic decision-making.
