Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager join our high-performing sales team. In this newly developed role, you will be responsible for leading the sale of all NEXTDC connectivity offerings to partners and end customers, providing expert knowledge and advice to customers on data centre cross connects, DCI metro cross connects and our AXON virtual exchange platform.

You will also own the recruitment of new content providers and carriers into the NEXTDC connectivity platform in order to grow the value of our ecosystem to both content providers and content consumers. Working in conjunction with our Executive team, you will develop the direct connectivity strategy for each of the hyperscale, cloud and content provider prospects we are engaging with.

Qualifications

You will be a hunter and a self-starter; motivated and committed to delivering an exceptional customer experience, as well as a proven track record of exceeding sales targets within the ICT industry.

You will be able to identify, create and develop new opportunities from scratch with strong selling skills and the ability to convert leads to sales and close deals.

You will have a deep understanding of the telecommunications, connectivity, networking infrastructure and internet market, as well as a solid understanding of cloud and aaS providers and their direct connectivity offerings.
