Job Description

The Advisory Sales Operations Specialist is responsible for providing sales analysis & support to NEXTDC's sales team, finance and business units. You will be responsible for the administration of  Salesforce, including new customer onboarding, SO and MSA’s and NDA’s, renewals and service changes.  The role coordinates activities between sales, operations, legal and finance. You will also assist in managing sales order confirmations directly with customers and answering queries as appropriate. 


To optimise the strategic direction of Business Operations, you will partner with sales to assist in managing and allocating sales leads in Salesforce. You will also assist in reporting related to invoices, orders and purchase orders and work to streamline existing processes to drive continued efficiency.  You will also become integral to the quote to cash system and future improvements including the provision of ongoing training and support to the sales organisation.

The role reports into the Business Operations Manager with Business Operations reporting into Finance. The finance team will rely on the Advisory Sales Operations Specialist for internal and external audit requirements, sales analysis and reporting functions and also oversight of adherence to policy and process.

Qualifications

With a minimum of five years supporting a busy sales and finance environment, you will have demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills combined with excellent written and verbal communication skills. You will also demonstrate the ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities and competing deadlines.  

You will have experience with quote to cash systems and preferably advanced Salesforce skills.  Excel skills and the ability to create dashboards and provide analytical information to the business will be highly regarded.
