The Software Developer will be responsible for the development of NEXTDC's software product portfolio and related technologies to support our data centre operations and customers. You will be required to develop solutions that provide configuration management, monitoring, alerting, and capacity planning for DCaaS, as well as develop and implement new technologies and products.

To be successful as our next Software Developer, we’re looking for either a recent graduate from a Software Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent degree, or someone with up to two years software development experience. 

Ideally, you will have experience in several programming languages and products such as:

• JavaScript, .NET C# or PHP
• HTML, XHTML, CSS, XML.
• AngularJS or jQuery

An understanding of cloud computing and Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) and knowledge of test-driven development and unit testing frameworks and methodologies is also advantageous.
