Job Description

As part of NEXTDC’s growth strategy, an opportunity has become available within the Marketing and Communications team based in the Brisbane Head Office for a talented Senior Marketing Specialist.  As an experienced and successful digital communications and marketing professional, you will assist in driving the development of NEXTDC’s multi-channel marketing strategy and support the management and execution of the marketing plan and business goals. 

Our Senior Marketing Specialist will thrive on being challenged and working in a high-performance environment, with the team managing multiple campaigns and critical marketing deliverables at any given time. You will be a marketing all-rounder, digitally savvy with experience across SEO, SEM, running social media campaigns, developing compelling website content and managing website content systems. You will also be experienced in pulling together and executing multi-channel campaigns and end-to-end marketing programs in order to drive customer awareness and generate demand.

You will have a passion for digital content including video, where you will work alongside the Content Strategy Manager to build a video strategy that is complementary to the overarching content strategy for the organisation.


  • Extensive experience in a similar marketing position
  • Strong writing skills, specifically with creating compelling ad messaging and assisting with the development of web copy
  • Strong digital marketing skills for building and executing marketing campaigns
  • A strong understanding of Salesforce for reporting ROI
  • In-depth understanding of marketing automation and building effective marketing email journeys
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Web and SEO
