Job Description

As the Services Manager, you will support the day-to-day operations of our Tier III Data Centre. By implementing and maintaining highly effective and efficient maintenance programs for all data centre systems (electrical, mechanical, fire, security etc.) you will ensure services are delivered in line with business needs and contractual obligations. You will also be willing to participate in the on-call roster.

Responsible for the early detection of facility issues and engaging third party suppliers where required, you will review and identify improvements to maintenance contract services to increase efficiency and reduce cost.

Qualifications

You will be passionate about the data centre industry and colocation facilities with a working knowledge of a data centre's intricacies, including: electrical and mechanical configurations, central chilling plant, AHU's, building management systems, rack management, design and installation. Relevant mechanical/electrical/telecommunications/ qualifications are desirable.

You will have a wealth of experience working within a critical maintenance role, and an understanding of data centre power and cooling approaches and technologies. You will have strong reporting experience with a proven ability to create SWI's and MOP's.
