Key role responsibilities: 

  • Developing organic social media strategy for NEXTDC, using content and multimedia to drive strong engagement, increase our reach and connect with our audience on a personal and professional level. 

  • Reporting on and monitoring of NEXTDC’s social media channels incl. LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter. This includes staying on top of new platforms and trends that align to NEXTDC's business and audience 

  • Identify and help to support the production of new multimedia assets needed for social media, that align with NEXTDC’s values, purpose and business 

  • Own the day to day running of NEXTDC’s lead to opportunity management process. From qualifying newly acquired leads, to allocating them to the appropriate resource, and following them through the lead engine in a timely and effective manner 

  • Produce NEXTDC’s monthly and quarterly Partner and Customer communications 

  • Support the production of EDM assets for campaigns and events 

  • Ensure consistent NEXTDC brand and tone across all content types and medium’s 

  • Coordinate and execute marketing activities, events and sponsorships 

  • Maintain and update marketing collateral (including videos) and assets 

  • Manage merchandise inventory and stock control.

Experience Required 

  • A business or marketing degree (or currently studying one) 

  • 1-2 years social media marketing experience or, 

  • 3 years’ experience working across general marketing and communications activities 

  • Experience in the technology industry 

  • Experience working with major social media platforms 

  • Working with and using analytics to guide decisions 

  • EDM programs and building nurture sequences 

  • Experience writing short and long-form content 

  • Knowledge and aptitude for branding and communications 

  • Excellent attention to detail and copy/editing
