This newly created role will be an integral part of the Marketing team. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, you will work closely and collaboratively with the entire Marketing and Communications team to drive, lead and champion the marketing automation strategy (Salesforce Marketing Cloud) and execute dynamic, multi-channel marketing communications and optimise customer journeys. 

This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about marketing and leading the way in marketing automation. Someone who is data-driven and technically savvy, a critical yet creative thinker with the proven ability to manage projects and campaigns with automated journeys, analytics, and trends in digital marketing

This is a hands-on tools role, and experience in driving customer engagement with a strong focus on performance and optimisation improvements is essential. As the subject matter expert for building automated customer journey’s above and below the line, you'll bring your own flare and specialist skills to the role around automation best-practices, and how they will help to improve business outcomes. 

This important new addition to the Marketing team will help pioneer a new platform integration and take our marketing strategy to the next level. Responsibilities include:

• Facilitating the development of a CRM Marketing strategy and roadmap, primarily to enable lifecycle journey automation and drive repeat use for customers and partners

• Strategies including brand campaigns, ABM, communications, events, retention etc 

• Implement Test & Learn processes across CRM engagement and retention initiatives to optimise campaign performance 

• Work with I.T and Business Systems teams to plan and facilitate platform integration (CMS, CRM, social etc) 

• Campaign reporting and providing insights and recommendations to drive engagement, growth and retention 

• Marketing Automation Specialist with a solid understanding of digital development best practice 
• B2B brand marketing experience in Australia 
• Experience working with long customer buy cycles 
• 4+ years’ experience in a relevant automation role 
• Proficiency in SFMC (Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Audience Builder, Analytics Builder and Einstein, Email Studio and Content builder) 
• Experience with Google Marketing Platform (in particular, integrating GA360 audiences via SFMC Google Marketing Cloud Connector) 
• Knowledge of data bases and data structure principles 
• Ability to deliver and manage multiple campaigns within a fast paced environment 
• Analytical skills 
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills 
• Attention to detail 
• Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, and highly-fluid environment
