This is the perfect role for a hands-on Network security professional looking to continue their career in an operational environment with future opportunities to develop network design and architectural capability.    

As the Network Security Engineer you will be responsible for operational tasks including troubleshooting and resolution of 1st and 2nd level incidents, managing security tool settings including firewalls and network threat analysis and qualifying security patches.

Your first 3 months in this role will be focused on refining incident response plans and building the network security operational playbook. This framework will define the metrics and key performance indicators for what success will look like in this role.

There will be a requirement for some on-call and out of hours support in this role.

• Demonstrated experience in a similar role (network security experience essential)
• ITIL Service Management Knowledge desirable
• Relevant industry certifications (Cisco, Checkpoint, Juniper, Palo Alto)
• Experience in network monitoring tools
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Outstanding customer service and stakeholder management skills
