Who we are:

NOCD is an award-winning digital health company focused on identifying people with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and managing them using evidence-based treatment. Although OCD affects over 181 million people globally, is ranked by the W.H.O. as a top 10 most disabling condition, and costs 3X more to treat than depression, over 90% of the OCD population isn’t able to access effective care due to stigma and misdiagnosis. As a result, OCD patients often go untreated and suffer in silence, which is why it’s nicknamed "the secret illness.”

NOCD is solving this global problem by identifying OCD patients online and managing them using our evidence-based OCD “telehealth +” platform. Inside the NOCD platform, members can do live face-to-face video sessions with an OCD specialist from the NOCD’s network, as well as get support between sessions from peer communities and self-help tools. Researchers have proven that NOCD Therapy reduces OCD Therapy by 47% in 10 hours of therapist time.

Today, NOCD manages the largest community of OCD patients in the world. We’re financially supported by 7wire Ventures, Health Enterprise Partners, Chicago Ventures, Meridian Street Capital, and Hyde Park Angels. We’re changing the world and need other like-minded individuals to accelerate and expand our efforts.

What you’ll do: 

  • Build, shape, and lead our strategy for recruiting for our tech team

  • Source candidates using a variety of search methods to build a candidate pipeline 

  • Screen candidates by reviewing resumes and perform phone screens 

  • Take ownership of candidate experience by designing and managing it 

  • Develop job postings and job descriptions

  • Manage onboarding and new hire process 

  • Stay up to date on recruiting trends and best practices 

  • Schedule interviews 

  • Manage the overall interview, selection, and closing process 

What we’re looking for: 

  • 5 plus years of tech recruiting at an agency or corporate setting 

  • Ambitious and ready to keep up with a competitive, goal-driven, start-up environment

  • Organized, quick and enthusiastic learner, excellent communicator, receptive to feedback, good with time management

  • Ability to manage a wide range of relationships with a variety of stakeholders 

  • Working knowledge of interview techniques and applicant screening methods 

  • Comfortable making decisions independently 

  • Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, Stack Overflow, and Github
