Job Description

Nauticus Robotics is actively seeking an experienced software developer to join our team. We are looking for a motivated and experienced ROS developer who has experience with real-world robotic systems.

FOR CONSIDERATION

  • This is a full-time position, you must be available for at least 40.00 hours a week.
  • This is an on-site position, you must be available to commute or relocate.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelors in CS (or higher) with minimum
  • At least 3 years of direct programming experience
  • Strong, working knowledge of C++ and Python on Linux
  • Experience working with real-world robotics systems
  • Experience with ROS
  • Experience working on a software team
  • Excellent communication skills

Preferred

  • Understand Agile methodologies (Scrum)
  • Experience with Git and Docker

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

While performing some duties of this job, the employee may be required to travel domestically and internationally. This role may also require exposure to a variety of construction and/or offshore platform job sites.

The performance of this position may occasionally require exposure to the manufacturing areas, which may require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses with side shields, mandatory hearing protection, and steel toe boots.
