Job Description

Network for Good is currently seeking a Data Analyst to work with Nonprofit Marketing Team to ensure our marketing, sales, success and support teams understand the dynamics of their businesses and make smart decisions based on current data.  The Analyst will be responsible for pulling data from various data warehouses, manipulating large datasets, building decision models, and delivering insightful solutions to complex problems.

 

Primary Duties:

  • Create and maintain metrics and reports on marketing, sales, success, and support activities and effectiveness and business impact.
  • Analyze data to develop insights and make recommendations on areas for optimization.
  • Collaborate with teammates, product managers, and other key stakeholders to both accurately forecast and craft the right strategies, campaigns, and tests to run.
  • Seek out problems and experiment with the best approach to solve them.
  • Manage administrative aspects of key systems (Marketo, Salesforce, etc.) used to generate, distribute, and report on leads and sales.
  • Document all research and findings.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS or equivalent working experience.
  • Experience with analytic techniques, statistical modeling, and web analytics technologies.
  • Ability to extract meaning and suggest action items from data, not just report metrics.
  • Deep understanding of web-related behaviors and trends and ability to optimize for these.
  • Excellent presentation skills. You’re comfortable using data to bring up new opportunities and best practices to your teammates to improve the way we operate and grow.
  • A natural curiosity and skepticism, helping lead you to experiments and tests in the name of improvement.
  • Saleforce.com experience required; Marketo or similar marketing automation software highly desired.
