Job Description

The Associate Sales Manager is responsible for achieving monthly/quarterly/annual sales goals, developing and managing a strong sales team and building new relationships to accomplish profit and volume goals. This position reports to the Director of Sales.

 

  • Lead, develop and motivate a team of sales consultants
  • Participate in the recruitment and selection process of new consultants
  • Maintain a smaller sales quota as a partial individual contributor
  • Manage sales goals and manage metrics that drive results
  • Track sales activity and provide sales projections
  • Achieve subscriber and revenue growth goals through improved sales performance

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing or equivalent training in business or sales management
  • At least five years of sales experience in the software-as-a-service (SaaS) industry
  • Proven track record of sales excellence
  • Strong verbal, written communication and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of the Internet and software application services, particularly e-commerce applications
