Job Description

Network for Good seeks a savvy Product Manager to uncover and solve customer needs. S/he will build online products and services, filling the product owner role in the agile development process. The ideal candidate will demonstrate experience with testing product feature impact using A/B testing, web analytics, and optimization of key product metrics.

Reporting to the VP of Products, the Product Manager will successfully roll out new products and features.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify market problems, develop business cases, and design conceptual solutions for MVPs and new features/enhancements
  • Manage the entire product lifecycle from strategic planning to tactical activities.
  • Work collaboratively across many internal dependencies including support, billing & finance to enable the product to scale.
  • Conduct real-life testing of ideas, refining and iterating as you go (being a champion for hypothesis-based marketing testing)
  • Maintain prioritized product backlog with input from other Product Managers, Customers, Partners, Sales and Support
  • Support the Vice President of Product in project meetings, creative workshops, design reviews, product kick-offs, weekly product status, and project wrap-ups
  • Manage business analysts to research and develop functional requirements in support of product development

Qualifications

  • At least four (4) years in an e-commerce or payments related product management role, delivering software products in a B2B or B2C setting
  • Proven analytic skills and data-driven decision making ability to solve problems
  • Ability to translate market findings into new product/enhancement ideas
  • Experience developing and delivering product documentation and internal training
  • Experience managing product lifecycle, including end-of-life evaluation
  • Ability to set, measure and report on metrics of product/feature adoption and financial return
  • Experience in a start-up environment, with a strong “do-it-yourself” and team work ethic
  • Working knowledge of agile development
