Job Description

The Marketing Coordinator will help acquire and nurture leads primarily through online and email campaigns. You will assist with online acquisition and email marketing, supporting the execution and optimization across channels. This position reports to the Director of Marketing, Demand Generation.

Responsibilities:

70% Campaign Development

  • Setup of campaigns in Marketo: craft landing pages and lead-generation forms for our content to distribute through relevant paid programs; build various email assets and campaigns, including calls-to-action and content used in email sends.
  • Work with internal and external creative resources (e.g., copywriter, designer) to develop creative assets (e.g., email copy, display ads) when necessary.

 

20% Performance Measurement

  • Measure and optimize our paid marketing using vendor-specific dashboards (e.g., Bizo), Google Analytics, and Marketo landing page sources reports.

 

10% Campaign Process Improvement

  • Research and test partnerships with new vendors to expand our reach and/or lower cost-per-acquisition.
  • Stay up-to-date with digital marketing trends and potential new channels and strategies to keep us ahead, including updates to social media marketing, attribution, and programmatic media buying.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field and at least two (2) years’ experience with email marketing and marketing automation
  • Intermediate proficiency with Marketo marketing automation technology and Salesforce CRM technology
  • Basic Photoshop/InDesign skills
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills

 

Preferred qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of various paid marketing channels and technologies, including paid search (Google AdWords, Bing), retargeting (Google, Bizo), social media advertising, and content distribution and placement networks like Outbrain and Taboola
  • Search engine optimization (SEO) experience
