Job Description

The Billing Coordinator is a multifaceted role. This individual will be responsible for working cross functionally with the Customer Success and Sales teams to help ensure accurate billing of our subscription service customers. In addition, this individual will assist the accounting and finance team on closings, reporting, and accounts receivable activities. This is the perfect opportunity for a do gooder to launch his/her career in finance, accounting and customer billing at a fast paced, innovative social enterprise.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Monitor and maintain accurate reporting for Network for Good subscription service customers: including approval and verification of new customer applications and billing, monthly recurring billing and annual renewals

• Produce, update, and analyze billing exception reports to ensure billing accuracy

• Coordinate with Sales, Customer Success, Customer Solutions teams to prevent and/or correct discrepancies on upcoming bills and subscriptions; provide answers to client billing inquiries, making adjustments and resolving issues as necessary

• Work with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to create promotion codes for new and existing customers

• Responsible for full cycle accounts receivable

• Assists with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings and audit preparations

• Coordinate with Technology and Product teams to identify trends in billing issues and identify appropriate fixes

• Work with Finance, Customer Success, Sales and other internal teams to provide accurate billing reports on an ad hoc basis

• Perform other duties and take on ad-hoc projects as assigned

Qualifications

• At least two (2) years’ billing experience required

• Bachelor's degree in a business related field; or equivalent experience

• Superior proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with Salesforce strongly preferred • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics a plus but not required

• Self-motivated and responsible, with extreme attention for detail

• Ability to multi-task effectively

• Completes assigned tasks efficiently and accurately with minimal supervision

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
