Job Description

The Senior CRM Administrator will develop strategies in coordination with marketing and sales leaders and will play a key role in supporting marketing and sales initiatives across the company. This position will plan and orchestrate the methods to measure the outcomes of marketing efforts, as well as make recommendations to ensure smooth ongoing sales operations. It is a highly visible position that will impact reporting and will touch every aspect of the business. The ideal candidate will have a successful track record of managing complex Salesforce CRM implementations with multiple integrations.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design and develop Network for Good’s Salesforce instance with attention to long-term organizational needs

• Direct, configure and support Network for Good’s Salesforce environments, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and all related sandboxes

• Configure and/or support CRM integrations and add-ons included but not limited to Marketo marketing automation suite, Gainsight customer success management, Zuora billing, InsideSales, Distribution Engine, and TimeTrade

• Manage the execution of complex web-based projects affecting CRM through the full lifecycle – from planning to requirements to implementation and roll-out

• Troubleshoot issues, provide recommendations, and implement solutions in the areas of data integrity, data quality, lead distribution, activity tracking, campaign attribution, and customer product status

• Work tightly with marketing, sales, and account management to gather requirements and meet new customer and market needs; manage and/or create documentation that includes functional requirements, technical approach, and potential user mockups

• Participate in the cross-functional planning process to develop concepts for key initiatives affecting sales and marketing initiatives in partnership with VP of Technology, VP of Product, Direct of Data Analytics

• Assist in measuring the outcomes of marketing efforts as well as making recommendations to ensure smooth ongoing sales operations

• Communicate CRM project status with senior management on a regular basis

• Participate in functional UAT and QA activities as needed in Salesforce and integrated systems

• Develop and lead trainings for internal users on Salesforce functions including basic documentation as needed

• Act as primary liaison between business teams and the technology team for CRM-related projects and serve as communication gatekeeper to projects running smoothly

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer sciences or related field

• 5-7 years managing complex Salesforce implementations that include integrations with marketing automation

• Salesforce certified administrator or advanced administrator; certified Sales Cloud or Service Cloud consultant a plus

• Experience with ETL/data manipulation tools (e.g. data loader, demand tools, excel connector, SOQL explorer)

• Strong innovator mentality, looking beyond the obvious for continuous improvement opportunities

• Outstanding project management skills and experience with project management tools and leading cross-functional initiatives that achieves business outcomes using CRM

• Hands-on experience building complex workflows, building/maintaining lead assignment rules, designing detailed profile-based permissions based on business needs

• Proven ability to assess business needs, prioritize accordingly and escalate as needed

• Excellent time management skills, ability to multitask, and propensity to handle urgent interruptions with poise, professionalism and a sense of humor

• Experience working in start-up environments with little supervision preferred

• Experience working with, or administering, integrated marketing automation systems (preferably Marketo) desired
