Job Description

We are looking for a talented Systems Engineer to join the organization in Scotland who will work closely with Sales team and help them promote our Client’s product offerings to partners, end users and resellers within Scotland and Ireland.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with sales to establish and maintain relationships with existing and potential customers in “Named Accounts”
  • Providing web-based and on-site demonstration and installation assistance of our Client’s software
  • Implement and manage POC`s to technical closure
  • Creation and delivery of technical presentations to the technical member within Channel partners, end users and resellers.
  • Work and deliver trainings to internal and external staff of the region
  • Train and work with internal team of removing and solving end-users and partner`s problems and provide customer feedback
  • Supply regular reports to the Director, Systems Engineering

Desired skills and experience:

  • 5-7+ years pre-sales experience
  • Strong experience working in a presales role from technical up to C-level level for an IT Software vendor
  • Candidates must have an excellent and practical knowledge of following storage – HP3PAR, NetApp FAS, EMC VNX and Nimble
  • Have experience on Hyper-V, Xen, KVM, Softricity, Openstack
  • Professional certifications of VCP or/and MCITP would be preferable
  • Feeling comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where roles and responsibilities change quickly
  • Stress-resistant, able to analyze and resolve complex problems
  • Excellent presentation, time management and written and verbal communication skills
  • Extensive travel throughout Scotland and Ireland
