Job Description

New England Donor Services is seeking a qualified part-time driver to safely transport our teams involved in organ and tissue recovery during clinical events. Other responsibilities include packing vehicle with recovery supplies, lab samples, tissue products, equipment, delivery of specimens and transport other teams as directed. This position will have you traveling in a New England Donor Services vehicles all throughout New England. The Drivers also maintain all documentation relevant to driving time and fueling.

Schedule

This position is on-call, but considered full-time and will pay at least 40 hours per week. The Drivers share an on-call schedule to provide coverage 24/7/365. On-call shifts are 24 hours. You must be able to report into our Waltham, MA office within about 1 hour from the dispatch call. Expect to work every other weekend and on holidays.

Qualifications

  • Must have a valid Driver's License 
  • Must have a Safe driving record
  • 3-5 years emergency vehicle driving experience is preferred
  • Must be able to life up to 70 lbs. and push up to 30 lbs. 
  • Must be able to driving long periods of time
  • Basic computer skills are necessary
