This SAM Specialist role is to manage the client's Software Environment and help customers understand and utilize software licenses and agreements. The SAM Specialist will utilize Microsoft best practice, procedures and tools to track and control all software purchases and installations and manage associated software compliance legal and financial risks. Mainly responsible maintaining Microsoft software license agreements, managing Software Assurance Benefits and compliance based on software license right-to-use (RTU) using SNOW software asset management solution.

• Bachelor's degree in the field of information technology or related and minimum of 4 years of relevant experience. Desired 4 Years 3 - Expert
• Create a package in PDQ Deploy or use GPO to push agents to multiple servers. Required 2 Years 3 - Expert
• Strong knowledge and work experience with software asset life cycle management processes: planning, acquisition, deployment, monitoring, harvesting an Highly desired 3 Years 3 - Expert
• Knowledge and experience with software asset management and Microsoft volume licensing site Required 4 Years 3 - Expert
• Experience with SNOW Software asset management Desired 2 Years 3 - Expert
• Exp w/license mgmt and optimization tools, software discovery tools (e.g., LANDesk, SNOW) & IT asset inventory systems (e.g., MS System Center or simi Required 2 Years 3 - Expert
• Experience interpreting software licensing terms and conditions. Highly desired 3 Years 3 - Expert
• Strong knowledge of software publisher’s licensing models, software deployment and use rights. Highly desired 3 Years 3 - Expert
• Experience with Microsoft SAM engagement and true-up. Required 2 Years 2 - Proficient
• Experience in managed software environment and 0365 (e.g. Cloud computing) Required 4 Years 3 - Expert
