The Architect will create enterprise level strategic business and technology solutions and work with technical specialists and vendors to describe and document how data flows through various agencies within the Department. The Architect will also suggest changes to how data flows through client's systems, to ensure that data can be aggregated for analysis in an analytics system. The Architect will work with stakeholders and vendors to build a holistic view of client's several information technology solutions and software so that an IT dashboard can be built. The Architect will link the business mission, strategy, and processes of client to the data collected through client’s various systems, and document the flows using multiple architectural models or views that show how the current and future needs of client will be met in an efficient, sustainable, agile, and adaptable manner.

• Overall IT Experience - 15 years exp required
  
• SQL - writing complex queries using Structure Query Language and embedding them in program code - 5 years exp required
  
• Must demonstrate experience in REST API Design and the development of listener and trigger programs to initiate data transfer under specific condition - 3 years exp required
  
• Must demonstrate experience in Web Services using JSON, XML, SOAP to communicate between servers and databases - 5 years exp required
  
• Architecture - experience designing data flows between servers accounting for security and various communication protocols - 5 years exp required
  
• Experience shipping Scalable Architectures - to develop interfaces that account for increased usage over time and migration to larger platforms. - 2 years exp required
  
• Message Queuing - experience with setting rules for queuing and transmitting messages between systems - 2 years exp required
  
• Familiarity with Node JS environment - 2 years exp desired 
  
• Familiarity with utilizing Web Socket protocol - 2 years exp desired 
  
• Software Development - experience with developing complex, multi-threaded applications with varying parameters and user inputs - 5 years exp required
  
• Communication (Written, Spoken English) - required
