Our Client is looking for an Application Administrator.  The candidate must provide Automic (UC4) software product expertise. The UC4 System Administrator will also be responsible for designing, testing and deploying our fail-over UC4 application servers. The UC4 disaster recovery servers will require a complete redesign to reduce system downtime, vulnerabilities and risks in the event of a disaster. Install/Setup of UC4/Automic Application according the defined guidelines. UC4/Automic Customization and configuration. Software Release and Patch Management according to the guidelines of Software Provider (UC4/Automic) and customer requirements. Define, develop, implement UC4/Automic batch process according to the customer monitoring and alarming requirements. Develop and propose new batch-flow, time-tables and process to avoid/solve performance and resources problems. Redesign of batch processing, go-live support of new releases, transport new jobs from TEST to PROD system. Responsible for standards, naming conventions, client concept, alarming concept, scripting, centralized includes. Monitoring and problem analysis and management of UC4/Automic batch-jobs. Document the UC4/Automic Infrastructure, Operational Environment, Technical Batch-Job and Processes. Ability to fully understand customer setup requirements and dependencies between applications and jobs Continuous improvement of the UC4 service; UC4 analysis Experience on UNIX, Windows, Database Admin and Shell/Perl scripting. Experience in supporting web services desirable

• Experience utilizing UC4 Scripting, Shell Scripts, OS JCL, CLISTS,TSO/ ISPF & SDSF, TMS - 5 years exp highly desired 
  
• Extensive Disaster Recovery experience on mainframe and distributed platforms - 5 years exp desired
  
• Experience utilizing MS Excel, Word, Project, Power Point and Viso - 5 years exp required
  
• Extensive experience utilizing the Automic (UC4) OM Scheduling System - 5 years exp highly desired 
  
• Cross-platform workload scheduling knowledge - 5 years exp highly desired 
  
• UNIX, LINUX, WINDOWS, z-VM, z/OS systems administration experience - 5 years exp desired 
  
• IBM Tivoli, Veritas Netbackup administration - 5 years exp good to have
  
• Mainframe on-line Host Systems and network protocal knowledge (i.e. CICS, DB2, ADABAS, Omegamon, VTAM, Netview, TCPIP, NCP) - 5 years exp good to have
  
• Oracle, Microsoft SQL, SAP - 5 years exp good to have
