Our client is seeking a qualified Business Process Analyst (BA) with knowledge and experience in the areas of business process engineering and education systems at the state education level. The position also requires a thorough knowledge of federal and District education policy. The BA must have experience with the development and deployment of .Net products as well as COTS implementations. The BA will lead focus group sessions with the business units to gather the requirements necessary to develop System Requirements Specifications (SRS). 

• Propose solutions to complex and unusual data requests - 8 years of exp required
  
• Ability to analyze technical data- 6 years of exp required
  
• Microsoft Excel- 8 years of exp required
  
• Microsoft Word - 8 years of exp required
  
• Knowledge of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)- 2 years exp highly desired
  
• Experience working with large and complex data sets - 4 years exp highly desired
  
• Knowledge of Longitudinal Data Systems as it pertains to Educational data sets- 4 years exp highly desired
  
• Experience with SQL, data warehouses, and statistical data presentation.- 4 years of exp required
