Job Description

Our client is seeking a Senior Mobility consultant with a proven track record of deploying MDM and MAM solutions for large commercial or Government entities.

The Senior Mobility Consultant will provide engineering services, advanced technical support, troubleshooting, monitoring and management of the enterprise Mobile Device Management (MDM) AirWatch Infrastructure. The Senior Mobility Consultant will also be responsible for managing the OCTO Mobility R&D lab and working with the various MDM vendors and Mobile Security vendors.

The Senior Mobility Consultant will also be responsible for working with various offices to make sure that the BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) policies and the GFE (Government Furnished Equipment policies) are always up to date and are implemented across the enterprise.

Additionally, the he Senior Mobility Consultant will be responsible for addressing trouble tickets that Tier-2 Helpdesk is unable to resolve, and coordinating with the Unified Communications and Directory Services teams as needed. The Senior Mobility Consultant will also be responsible for enterprise wide distribution of mobile applications. As well as establishment and ongoing upkeep of technical documentation as needed to support the MDM environment and the associated MDM policies and procedures.
Responsibilities/Duties Include, but are not limited to:
• Perform console configuration as required to support mobile device management
• Assist with day-to-day enrollment/provisioning/monitoring of devices
• Provide recommendations for optimization and assist with implementation of any improvements identified
• Plan and coordinate upgrade and maintenance activities for the Airwatch environment
• Assist with tracking, monitoring, and troubleshooting as necessary
• Provide direct support for Level 1 / Level 2 help desk resources
• Ad-Hoc Training for MDM administrators
• Assist with tracking, monitoring, and troubleshooting as necessary
• Provide post-implementation support services as required
• Assist with configuration and roll-out of devices for District agencies
• Administer Health Check Audits
• Provide post-implementation support services as required

Must possess good communications skills, be organized, have ability to define and socialize new processes, able to effect change in a dynamic environment, comfortable working at many org levels, & must be team-oriented, performance-oriented.

Qualifications

  • Expert working knowledge with AirWatch technology – Required 3 Years
  • Experience supporting security of MDM solutions including implementation of MDM security policies – Required 5 Years
  • Experience supporting server infrastructure for MDM and MAM solutions – Required 5 Years
  • Experience troubleshooting and MDM and MAM deployments – Required 5 Years
  • Experience with AirWatch, MobileIron and XenMobile MDM – Required 3 Years
  • Experience with Good For Enterprise / Good Dynamics – Required 4 Years
  • Experience with VDI and MDM integration - Highly desired 3 Years
  • Full-range mobility experience – Required 2 Years
  • Experience with Active Directory, Exchange, SharePoint, Lync and SQL Server – Required 6 Years
  • Master Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems - Highly desired 4 Years
  • Experience with MDM architecting and deploying mobile device management solutions – Required 4 Years
  • Understanding of NFPA/NEC documents, EIA/TIA standards, building codes and safety practices. - Highly desired 3 Years
  • Demonstrates experience and understanding in technology, reporting applications and system-based processes – Required 3 Years
