Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to sell to top brands within NewsCred's recently launched UK office.  You will build solid long-term relationships with your clients, and have a reputation for being the go-to contact for content marketing.  Your main responsibility will be to lead sales and on board top brands in Europe worldwide.

Your door-opening track record proves your approach to sales is disciplined and consultative, and that you have a unique ability to navigate your way through even the most complex marketing departments to win over senior-level decision makers.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Educate brand marketers from CMO’s, social media managers and senior level marketing directors, on how our content marketing software can help manage their clients social publishing and content strategy
  • Drive the full sales cycle from prospecting brand clients to closing deals
  • Educate brands on how premium content can impact the ROI for a brand and how to use our technology solutions to help increase engagement
  • Capitalize on your own network within this area and engage these brands
  • Immerse yourself in the content marketing scene, attending many events and conferences focused on branded content.

 

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years track record of winning new business/sales in the digital media industry
  • Large Portfolio of current relationships with marketing decision makers at big brands
  • Serious hunter driven by a sense of urgency and perseverance that is required when selling content
  • Expert knowledge on selling software to agencies and brand marketers
  • A passion for premium content, content marketing and for what we are doing as a company
  • Understanding of how to work with agencies and brand direct
  • Demonstrated results orientation: delivery of revenue targets and business growth
  • Strong energy and drive: self-motivated, focused on bottom line, persistent
  • Personal and interpersonal competencies: relating skills, openness and receptivity, integrity and character
  • Experienced engaging with executive decision makers, strong executive presence and great presentation skills
  • Organizational agility: communicating effectively, culturally savvy, managing up, down, laterally
