The Work

NewsCred is looking for a Senior Node.js Engineer to build cutting edge web applications to revolutionizing the world of content marketing and enterprise software. This role will be responsible for technical design, new features and products, working with UX designers, researching and evaluating new technology, and maintaining a well-tested and high quality software codebase.  Individuals that succeed at NewsCred are intelligent, highly motivated, fearless team players with great senses of humor.  They proven self-starters and quick learners. If you are passionate about Node.js, Javascript or Angular.js, and want to work somewhere you can help move the ecosystem forward, this is the right job for you.

About You

You love creating software so much that it’s disconcerting to your family and friends. The idea of game night and free lunch sound fun. You find few things as satisfying as reading and writing beautiful code and you plan on pushing some code on your first day. You’re irresistibly curious about the latest emerging technologies. You may or may not have a computer science degree.

Qualifications Requirements

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.  
• 3 years of Node.js development for enterprise or consumer software products.
• Extensive background building dynamic web pages with cross-browser. compatibility with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, templating languages.
• Background in User Experience and optimizing website performance.
• Comfortable with functional programming paradigms: functions as first-order objects and closures
• Working on high-touch, high-visibility, high-performance, highly-scalable enterprise applications; client facing apps involving campaign management, workflow, analytics, and audience design.
