The work

NewsCred is looking for an Information Technology Specialist to provide IT support to NewsCred.

• You will act as the company's IT Help Desk by responding to technology related problem calls for users; provide technical support for IT software, hardware and company issued mobile devices.

• You will be a key player in making recommendations for technology-related upgrades and assists with procurement and disposal of IT related equipment.

• Process requests for new, updated, or termination of user accounts, email access, and address books.

• Works closely with the Event staff to determine and coordinate the best technical support possible for successful facility utilization for special events and programs.

• Maintains library of all software, hardware, and supporting documentation for equipment warranty services, out of warranty service contracts.

• The IT Specialist may be assigned project lead responsibilities and supervise the installation and/or maintenance of special projects.

Qualification Requirements

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.

• Three years of information technology experience such as analyzing, programming, installing, and/or maintaining computer software applications, hardware, or telecommunications or network infra-structure equipment.

• Current knowledge and understand of today's IT environment.
