Job Description
OVERVIEW
An exciting opportunity to build creative content marketing strategies for Fortune 500 brands. The Brand Strategist will work closely with our sales team to craft custom solutions for prospective clients that leverage NewsCred’s expertise in content marketing. This role is ideal for a brand connoisseur, able to understand all facets of brand management, content strategy, and social media.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with our sales team to build creative content marketing strategies which consider a brand's voice, marketing goals, and target audience.
- Create custom proposals for current and prospective clients.
- Create marketing collateral to support the sales team.
- Work with the product marketing manager to create compelling sales collateral and marketing materials on our software/product.
- Join meetings with marketers from Fortune 500 brands to present content marketing opportunities.
- Collaborate with our editorial team on custom content demos that complement each pitch.
- Work closely with our marketing team to ensure our brand is always consistent across all sales collateral.
- Opportunity to contribute to the NewsCred Blog.
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2-3 years of experience in marketing is a must-have
- Experience writing proposals and marketing collateral
- Passionate about content marketing, social media, advertising and digital media trends
- An eye for design with expert knowledge of PPT (and Indesign and Photoshop preferable)
- Ability to multi-task and handle multiple deliverables and projects at once, sticking to deadlines
- Ability to attend and participate in meetings with senior-level marketers at top brands
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- BS/BA degree from an accredited college or university
