Job Description

OVERVIEW

 

As our UK Marketing Director you will play a vital role in creating, implementing and executing integrated US campaigns at all stages of the sales and marketing funnel. You will build relationships with the companies sales teams and global marketing and work closely with them to align to and support their needs. In essence, you will drive awareness and demand, provide the sales tools, campaigns, events, and targeting assistance needed to help the sales team prospect effectively and accelerate their pipeline.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Management, Strategy and Demand Generation

  • Establish quarterly marketing lead generation and opportunity creation targets with Sales and deliver marketing qualified leads per agreed upon targets
  • Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns that build pipeline and mature existing opportunities; this includes strategy, creative direction, campaign objectives, and validation
  • Develop strategies for inbound and outbound campaigns including tactics such as webinars, content syndication, list rentals, social media, SEM/Remarketing, etc, to build lead database and increase qualified opportunity creation; manage team in planning & execution
  • Develop measure and refine email and progressive nurturing campaigns with marketing automation
  • Manage and optimize lead scoring models

B2B Events Planning and Management

  • Selecting and managing local events targeting the marketing buyer. Events should optimize branding opportunities as well as generating MQLs for local sales teams
  • Fostering and leveraging customer advocacy as part of marketing campaigns and events
  • Create a pre and post event process for marketing / sales follow-up to ensure full marketing ROI of each event invested in

Sales Enablement

  • Working with sales and/or agencies in the execution of marketing plans
  • Create custom proposals for current and prospective clients
  • Work with sales team to build creative content marketing strategies which consider a brand’s voice, marketing goals and target audience
  • Work with US marketing team to create compelling sales collateral and marketing materials on the content marketing cloud

Metrics and ROI

  • Manage marketing metrics and ROI analysis; work with cross functional teams to manage and present monthly, 
quarterly and annual metrics on marketing revenue performance management
  • Manage, track, report and present programs budgets by channel - campaign costs, performance, and ROI 
through the demand generation lifecycle 


Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:


  • BA, BS or higher in marketing, communications, business or related field
  • Experience in dealing with SMB B2B acquisition is a must, Enterprise marketing an upside
  • Approx. 7-10 years of proven, successful global inbound and outbound demand generation program creation, 
execution, measurement, analysis and reporting across channels, products and verticals
  • Experience in Modern Marketing; Opt-in Inbound marketing and community management
  • Previous experience marketing web technology platforms and solutions
  • Previous experience in marketing SaaS
  • Demonstrable success in creating, executing and measuring integrated marketing campaigns across channels 
with a track record of success achieving KPIs in the high tech B2B space
  • Previous experience managing multichannel marketing budgets and processes
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to matrix well across all organizational stakeholders, particularly Sales and Global Marketing
  • Knowledgeable of CRM and Marketing Automation platforms such as Salesforce and Marketo
  • Creative, resourceful, and out-of-the-box thinker
